Maj. Elizabeth Romero, 56th Contracting Squadron commander, provides remarks during the 56th Fighter Wing’s inaugural Women’s Panel Sept. 28, 2020, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. During the engagement, women in the officer and enlisted ranks discussed retention rates, women’s issues in the workplace, and creating new mentorships and networking opportunities. The Luke AFB Diversity and Inclusion Team hosted the event to help cultivate a culture in which all Airmen are equally welcomed, valued, included, and invested in the success of the 56th FW mission.
