    24th Theater Public Affairs Support Element

    Soldiers assigned to the 181st Chemical Company, 2nd Chemical Battalion, 48th Chemical Brigade out of Fort Hood, Texas, use chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear equipment to detect any possible hazardous contaminants that might be in the area or leaking from the rail cars during a Vibrant Response 13 field training exercise at the former Jefferson Proving Grounds near Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, Ind., Aug. 1. The 181st Chemical Company was responsible for supporting Joint Task Force Civil Support in aiding local, state and federal civil authorities.
