U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Loran Padgett, a native of Bradford, Florida, and a transitions system operator with Headquarters Company, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, helps in the construction of a 135 ft. by 60 ft. terrain model during Mountain Training Exercise 1-21 (MTX) at Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport, California, Oct. 10, 2020. MTX is a service level training exercise which teaches Marines to effectively work in extreme conditions.
