The Honorable Thomas McCaffery, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, is given a tour of the nursing lab by Maj. Melissa Hendricks, program director of the Aerospace Medical Service Apprentice program at the Medical Education and Training Campus Oct. 20. McCaffery met with METC leadership and visited programs to learn how the schoolhouse trains and prepares the future enlisted medical force during a visit as part of a multi-day visit to Joint Base San Antonio, Texas Oct. 19-21.
