U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Cody Taylor, a field artillery cannoneer with Bravo Battery, 3d Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3d Marine Division, sets security with an advanced party at Combined Arms Training Center, Camp Fuji, Japan, Oct. 24, 2020. Taylor was participating in Artillery Relocation Training Program 20.3, an exercise held to strengthen the defense of Japan and the U.S.-Japan Alliance. The skills developed at ARTP increase the lethality and proficiency of the only permanently forward-deployed artillery unit in the Marine Corps, enabling them to provide precision indirect fires. Taylor is a native of Clanton, Alabama. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Savannah Mesimer)
