Norton Schwartz sing the Air Force Song as the Pacific Air Forces change of command ceremony concludes Aug. 3, 2012, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. North relinquished command and is retiring after more than three decades of active duty military service. Carlisle took command of Pacific Air Forces which is responsible for Air Force activities spread over half of the globe.
