With the help of another rescue technician, Betty Townsend, a fireman assigned to the Fort Knox Fire Protection Team, attempts to move, and lift a mannequin, posing as a non-ambulatory injured civilian, through a small window opening of a house and into a water raft during a Vibrant Response 13 water rescue exercise at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Complex, Aug. 9. The Fort Knox Firemen from Rineyville, Ky., were responsible for evacuating injured civilians trapped in houses and vehicles within a flooded residential area.
