Green Berets with 3rd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) inspect their parachutes and equipment in preparation for a High-Altitude Low Opening (HALO) jump that is part of RED FLAG-RESCUE exercise on November 6, 2020 at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, AZ. RED FLAG-RESCUE is the Department of Defense’s premier Combat Search and Rescue exercise. As a joint-force experience, it provides realistic CSAR training in contested, degraded, and operationally limited environments.
