Samantha Brown, the supply sergeant for Company C, 615th Aviation Support "Cold Steel" Battalion, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, speaks at the National American Indian Heritage Month Ceremony held at Camp Taji, Iraq, Nov. 3. Brown, a full-blooded Navajo Indian, read a poem in her native language. She also talked about the Navajo Code Talkers; those service members who used their native language to encrypt messages during World War II.
