Soldiers from the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade "Warriors," 1st Cavalry Division, enjoy the National American Indian Heritage Month ceremony in the Command Sgt. Maj. Cooke Dining Facility Pavilion at Camp Taji, Iraq, Nov. 3. During the ceremony, troopers learned about some significant contributions made by American Indian Soldiers. One Soldier, Torreon, N.M., native Sgt. Samantha Brown, a full-blooded Navajo and the unit supply sergeant for Company C, 615th Aviation Support "Cold Steel" Battalion, 1st ACB, 1st Cav. Div., read a poem in her native language.
