A Shirohebi, also known as the Iwakuni white snake, rests on a heating tile at the Iwakuni Shirohebi Shrine in Iwakuni City, Japan, Nov. 6, 2020. The Marine Corps Community Services Cultural Adaptation Program coordinated the Iwakuni Shirohebi Shrine visit for Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni residents in order to give them the opportunity to visit the shrine participate in traditions and interacted with the white snakes that live there.
