Jennifer Mangan, a Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni resident, handles a Shirohebi, also known as the Iwakuni white snake, during the Iwakuni Shirohebi Shrine visit in Iwakuni City, Japan, Nov. 6, 2020. The Marine Corps Community Services Cultural Adaptation Program coordinated the Iwakuni Shirohebi Shrine visit for MCAS Iwakuni residents in order to give them the opportunity to visit the shrine participate in traditions and interacted with the white snakes that live there.
