U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Patrick Castorena, a combat engineer with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, tours Centro Medico Comayagua Colonial during hospital site visits in Comayagua, Honduras, Sept. 3, 2020. The Marines joined Joint Task Force – Bravo during the visit to assess the capacity and capabilities of the hospital and reinforce their enduring promise to the regional partnership. A group of approximately 20 Marines from SPMAGTF-SC integrated with JTF-B at Soto Cano Air Base in support of operations and exercises in the Latin American and Caribbean region. The remainder of the task force is prepared to deploy to the region to work alongside partner nation militaries, enhancing combined crisis response efforts in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.
