Sgt. Jalin Leatherman, a data systems administrator, and Cpl. Elijah Soper, a network administrator, both with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, take down an AN/TRC-209 radio system at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, Sept. 14, 2020. The Marines used the AN/TRC-209 radio system in order to communicate with the remainder of the task force in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. A group of approximately 20 Marines from SPMAGTF-SC integrated with Joint Task Force - Bravo at Soto Cano Air Base in support of operations and exercises in the Latin American and Caribbean region. The remainder of the task force is prepared to deploy to the region to work alongside partner nation militaries, enhancing combined crisis response efforts in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.
