YOKOSUKA, Japan (Dec. 11, 2020) – Kristi Prince Moses, Child and Youth Programs director, center, highlights the new Gridely Child Development Center's playground to Rear Adm. Brian Fort, Commander, Navy Region Japan, and Capt. Rich Jarrett, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), during a tour of the newly-opened facility onboard CFAY. The new $12 million facility will be able to accommodate more than 140 children onboard the installation. For 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
