U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), conduct immediate action drills during a Foreign Humanitarian Assistance (FHA) training exercise as part of MEU Exercise on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 9, 2020. FHA exercises prepare Marines to provide aid quickly and proficiently following a disaster. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward deployed MEU, provides a flexible force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
