    31st Marine Expeditionary Unit

U.S. Marine Sgt. Austin E. Green, a motor transportation operator with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), and a native of Clarkson, Washington, holds an after-action report during a Foreign Humanitarian Assistance (FHA) training exercise as part of MEU Exercise on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 9, 2020. FHA exercises prepare Marines to provide aid quickly and proficiently following a disaster. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward deployed MEU, provides a flexible force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
