U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Stacy Clardy, commanding general of III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), prepares to go through 3rd Transportation Support Battalion’s (TSB) confidence course on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 15, 2020. Clardy visited 3rd TSB to learn more about TSB’s capabilities, opportunities and challenges, and to award a Marine and Sailor with a III MEF coin. 3rd Marine Logistics Group, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III MEF’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
