U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen Stacy Clardy, commanding general of III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), gifts the III MEF Coin to Lance Cpl. Ronald Argo, a motor transportation operator with 3rd Transportation Support Battalion (TSB), Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3rd Marine Logistics Group (MLG), and Athens, Georgia native, for his proficiency in his occupation and the confidence course, during his visit to 3rd TSB on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, Dec 15, 2020. Clardy visited 3rd TSB to learn more about TSB’s capabilities, opportunities and challenges, and to award a Marine and Sailor with a III MEF coin. 3rd MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III MEF’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
