Presque Isle State Park in Erie, PA, October 28, 2020. The Presque Isle sand nourishment project is authorized under Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) 1986. Without Federal funds, the peninsula is in danger of suffering irreversible effects that could alter its function both environmentally and economically.
