U.S. Airmen assigned with the Michigan National Guard’s COVID-19 response task force, are working at Food Gatherers food bank in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Dec. 3, 2020. The Airmen are working at the food bank and soup kitchen in Washtenaw County helping those in need of food.
“It’s a wonderful experience to actually help out the community, because I live in this county. For me this is a very impactful thing to do,” said U.S. Tech. Sgt. Wes Chase the plans non-commissioned officer who is assigned to the task force. “I am aware of how much of an impact it is making, and it makes me feel that much more connected to my community.”
