VICENZA, Italy - Emily Coyle, Sergeant Morales Club member decorates one of the eight Christmas trees before delivering them to Villaggio Army Family Housing Dec. 18, 2020.
“We helped decorate trees in the quarantine building with ornaments made by the children of this wonderful community. Looking at these ornaments, you could feel the love these children put into sharing their jolly Christmas spirits,” said Coyle.
Approximately 20 volunteers from 12 different organizations and agencies within the Vicenza military community have come together to provide a little holiday cheer for the new members of the local community. In addition to delivering Christmas trees, their volunteering included delivering cards, stockings and fully cooked holiday meals to Soldiers and Families quarantined on Villaggio.
