TAMUNING, Guam (April 17, 2020) Lt. Col. David Johnson, troop commander of the 673rd Medical Group supporting the 36th Medical Group, briefs Airmen assigned to the 673rd Medical Group before collecting COVID-19 test kit samples from Sailors assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) at Government of Guam and military-approved commercial lodging. Theodore Roosevelt Sailors were moved to local hotels in an effort to implement an aggressive mitigation strategy to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health of the Sailors. Sailors remain in quarantine in their assigned lodging for at least 14 days, in accordance with DoD directive and the Governor's executive order.
