U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Jeremy Mickelson, 514th Flight Test Squadron C-130 pilot fist bumps Colombian Air Force Col. Danysh Forero Camacho, 12th Air Force (Air Forces Southern) Colombian foreign liaison officer, prior to departure of a regenerated C-130E Hercules aircraft at the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., Sept. 14, 2020. This C-130E is the fifth the U.S. has donated to Colombia through the Excess Defense Articles (EDA) program as part of the longstanding partnership between the two nations. Colombia’s entire fleet of C-130s has come from the U.S. as part of broader Defense Security Cooperation Agency efforts to advance U.S. national security and foreign policy interests by building capacity of foreign partners to respond to shared challenges.
