A regenerated C-130E Hercules aircraft takes off from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., Sept. 14, 2020, for donation to the Colombian Air Force. This aircraft was the fifth C-130 the U.S. has donated to Colombia as a demonstration of the longstanding partnership between the two countries and their commitment to security and stability in Latin America and the Caribbean. Colombia’s entire fleet of C-130s has come from the U.S. as part of broader Defense Security Cooperation Agency efforts to advance U.S. national security and foreign policy interests by building capacity of foreign partners to respond to shared challenges.
