After being initially screened during a walking blood bank drive earlier in the year, AAAB Soldiers reported to the Role II compound to donate blood for future use in case of a mass casualty event. The blood drive allowed the combat medics to extract blood from pre-identified individuals with critical blood types for a walking blood bank in the event of receiving a critically injured patient.
