Sgt. 1st Class Brandon Carley, a pathfinder assigned to Kosovo Force, Regional Command-East, maintains communications during a helicopter landing site clearance operation in Kosovo on Dec. 23, 2020. The UH-60 Black Hawk pilots dropped off the ground team to clear the area of UXO while they circled around the HLS. Once the area was deemed safe, the pilots picked up the ground team and took them to their next location. The operation cleared three sites, allowing KFOR to safely patrol the administrative boundary line between Kosovo and Serbia in an effort to maintain a safe and secure environment.
