Cory Bartholomew, 1st Reconnaissance Squadron U-2 Dragon Lady instructor pilot, dawns his aircrew flight equipment prior to entering the jet Dec. 22, 2020, at Beale Air Force Base, California. This flight marked Bartholomew’s 1,000th flight in the U-2. Since Bartholomew’s first U-2 flight in Sept. 1993, he’s accumulated more than 3,080 flight hours in the aircraft.
