U.S. Army Pvt. 1st Class Darrin Fisher, a Task Force Atlas, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade food service specialist from Woodbridge, Va., prepares thick, seasoned "aviation burgers." The burgers were served up along with steak, crab legs and wings during a five-hour final meal at the aviation dining facility on Bagram Air Field Aug. 17, 2012. As the 82nd CAB prepares to return to Fort Bragg, they're permanently closing the aviation dining facility which has been run by aviation brigade soldiers for about 10 years due to troop drawdown in Afghanistan.
