Sacramento resident Norma Dillon shares a photo moment with female Soldiers of the California Army National Guard’s 270th Military Police Company, 185th Military Police Battalion, 49th Military Police Brigade, Jan. 21, 2021 at the Capitol in Sacramento, California. “In all my years, I can’t recall seeing the National Guard at the Capitol building at this level,” said the 80-year-old Dillon, a former legislative advocate and state senate consultant. “It’s so exceptional to see (the National Guard) especially the women.
