A Humvee stops at a marker during a mounted land navigation training exercise conducted Aug. 17, at Camp Buehring, Kuwait. Soldiers assigned to the 203rd Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, used maps and compasses to obtain the locations of their targets and then entered those locations into Blue Force Tracker devices. The BFT has the capability to track friendly and hostile forces as well assist in navigation from one point to another.
