U.S. Marines Corps Lance Cpl. Michael Lobianco, with the Forward Command Element (FCE), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), prepares to drive a light tactical all-terrain vehicle onto a CH-53 Super Stallion with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 (Reinforced), during an extract of the Non-combatant Evacuation Operation (NEO) team from the Central Training Area, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 23, 2021. A NEO is the evacuation of civilians and nonessential military personnel from danger in an overseas country to a designated safe haven.
