INDIAN OCEAN (Dec. 29, 2020) – U.S. Navy Aviation Structural Mechanic 2nd Class Robert Liles, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 23, chains down an MH-60S Sea Hawk on the flight deck aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8). The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit are conducting operations in the 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
