Hopedale, Mass., native Pvt. Shaun Connor, a field artilleryman with Battery A, 1st Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, paints an M2A2 105 mm Howitzer on Camp Taji, Iraq, Nov. 13. The Korean War-era field artillery piece is one of many vintage pieces which units have on display outside their unit buildings on the base camp. With just a couple of months left to go until the unit's return to Fort Hood, Texas, Battery A has been working to get their unit area ready for their replacements who arrive sometime early next year.
