Tristian Romuk, a rifleman with Bravo Company, Battalion Landing Team 1/4, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, prepares to stand a security post. The U.S. repositioned between 600 and 800 personnel from Somalia to elsewhere in East Africa. This transition will facilitate multi-national collaboration in the fight against violent extremist organizations operating in Somalia and wherever else they exist.
