U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Kamerin Hervey, an administrative law clerk with the Legal Services Support Section, Headquarters and Support Battalion, discusses with his senior leadership on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 19, 2021. Hervey is an active duty Marine, wheelchair bound due to his bilateral tibia stress fractures in both shins. He was injured during the initial Combat Fitness Test at recruit training, but he does not let it hold him back. Every day has its own set of challenges, but through courage and persistence Hervey stays true to himself and others. Hervey is a native of Longmont, Colorado. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
