210224-N-LG955-1008 OKINAWA, Japan (Feb. 24, 2021) Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 465 and Marine 3d Landing Support Battalion conduct a joint Helicopter Support Team external lift with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, demonstrating the ship-to-shore concept that enables rapid transportation of Civil Engineering Support Equipment in support of Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations. NMCB-4 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
