JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Feb. 5, 2021) - Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Mechanical Engineer, Evan Grambling, places 3D printed nasopharyngeal swab cages from an HP Jet Fusion 4200 3D Printing Processing Station into a cooling station. Each printing cycle prints 16 cages with 111 swabs in each cage totaling 1,776 swabs. The swabs have timed cooling cycles that must be implemented for successful results. FRCSE is providing 3D printed nasopharyngeal swabs in support of COVID-19 containment efforts. (U.S. Navy Photo by Toiete Jackson/Released)
