U.S. and Jordanian Soldiers form two lines on a military range in Southern Jordan to witness the uniquely American Army tradition of reenlisting. U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Lizette Mendoza, Task Force Spartan- Jordan, received a surprise ceremony when Task Force Spartan Assistant Commander- Operations, Brig. Gen. Win Burkett asked her to raise her right hand, Feb. 17. The Jordanian’s 3rd Border Guard Group Soldiers only have one oath, at the beginning of their career. El Paso native, Mendoza says the experience is one she will never forget. The two forces had been working together through weapons drills and other basic soldier skills before coming to the live fire range and witnessing the reenlistment.
