NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (Mar. 01, 2021) – Members of Public Works Department Rota Facilities Engineering & Acquisition Division (FEAD) and Construcciones Felipe Castellano (CFC) stand in front of P-621, Communication Station (N62470-17-C-5006). Alejandro Perez, quality control manager of CFC, Jose Luis Oliva, site superintendent of CFC, Manuel Pozas, project manager of CFC, Brian Seward, project management & engineering branch head of PWD Rota FEAD, and Vincent Williams, engineering technician of PWD Rota FEAD. The $18.5 million project includes construction of multi-story communication center to include administrative spaces, support spaces, equipment/operational spaces, communication maintenance/training spaces, showers, toilets, storage spaces, below-grade cable vaults, raised-flooring, moveable interior walls, under-floor fire suppression system, access control system, climate direct digital control system (DDC), redundant HVAC systems, rack-mounted communications equipment, telephone switches, and secure conference room.
