Cameron McAllister, a cannoneer from Charlie Battery, 1st Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, pulls the lanyard on the Expeditionary Fire Support System M327 120-mm mortar at Pohakuloa Training Area, Aug. 23. McAllister, a 20-year-old Big Lake, Minn., native, is in charge of preparing rounds and charges and loading them into the mortar.
