Pfc. Walter Sweet, cannoneer, Charlie Battery, 1st Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, loads a round into the Expeditionary Fire Support System M327 120mm mortar at Pohakuloa Training Area, Aug. 23. Sweet, a 23-year-old San Antonio, Texas native, is in charge of preparing rounds and charges and loading them into the mortar.
