NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, Italy (Jan. 25, 2021) Umberto Ruggeri, boiler technician, assigned to the Public Works Department aboard Sigonella was selected as Junior Civilian of the 4th quarter for the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Europe Africa Central (EURAFCENT). During an inspection, Ruggeri’s careful maintenance work on the HVAC systems and the replacement of burners and thermostats assisted in his nomination for the award.
