Pvt. Jennifer Skelton, of B Company, 505th Engineer Battalion, was sprayed with pepper spray as part of a training event at Camp Butner, N.C., Aug. 28. The soldiers were sprayed with pepper spray as preparation for the possibility of being sprayed if they should be called upon by the governor to assist with controlling unruly personnel.
