Cade Magill, from St. Paul, Minn., and Gas Turbine Mechanic Fireman Karah Lawyer, from Athens, Texas, secure a Light Armored Vehicle-Command and Control (LAV-C2) to the deck of a Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC), assigned to Assault Craft Unit 5, in the well deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Portland (LPD 27).
