PACIFIC OCEAN (March 21, 2021) — Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class Gustavo Benavides, from Brownsville, Texas, directs Lance Cpl. Ashley Mills, from Akron, Ohio, to drive a Light Armored Vehicle-Command and Control (LAV-C2) across a Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC), assigned to Assault Craft Unit 5, in the well deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Portland (LPD 27).
