Sgt. 1st Class Heriberto Hernandez, the Future Operations non-commissioned officer in charge for Task Force Spartan, stands by the completed TF Spartan commemorative T-wall he worked on throughout March 2021, at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Hernandez won the T-wall design contest for TF Spartan earlier in the year and began to implement his design, with the help of Staff Sgt. Dolores Bocanegra, the Provost Marshal non-commissioned officer in charge for the TF Spartan Protection Cell. “The design essentially came from the operation name, Task Force Spartan,” said Hernandez. “I wanted the shield to be front and center to represent our posture of maintaining relationships with our host nation countries but always ready to get into the fight.
