“Emergency Management deals with all hazard emergencies, and the pandemic is classified as a public health emergency. I help connect resources and people together so we can run more efficiently in a disaster. I am the COVID-19 representative for [MCAS Futenma], so I am in charge of making sure all personnel here are connected with joint resources, and any of the information coming down from leadership. There is so much information out there, and I think that is one of the problems we are dealing with…so my advice is to check your organization’s websites and make sure you are double-checking on any information that you think might not be correct.”
