Hawaii Army and Air National Guard personnel prepared boxes
full of personal protective equipment (PPE) for the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency to be issued across Oahu and the neighbor islands Mar 31, 2021. The PPE is being given out to health care providers, public schools, hospitals, non-profits, foster homes and correctional facilities. HI-EMA and the National Guard have shipped boxes to more than 300 schools across the islands and distributed 75% of the PPE funded through The Cares Act.
