Soldiers from America’s I Corps set up an expandable shelter system for their Early Entry Command Post exercise at Yakima Training Center, Wash., April 12. The shelters are ready for use in minutes and provide hard cover, heating, and even air-conditioning. Deployment Readiness Exercises allow commanders from company to corps levels to train their staff on the detailed planning and coordination required to move units overseas on a condensed timeline.
